about adriana

I am a RYT-200 certified yoga teacher, currently working towards the 500 hrs certification. I have enjoyed a personal practice for over 20 years, participating in many workshops and retreats all over the world.

I first came to yoga because of serious back pain. At the outset, yoga served as a means to alleviate physical pain and find relief. However, as I continued to engage with the practice, I sensed an inner calling to delve deeper into its teachings and explore beyond the physical aspects.

The transformative power of yoga began to reveal itself to me, not only on a physical level but also on an emotional, mental, and spiritual level. I observed how the practice not only brought strength, flexibility, and balance to my body, but also provided a sanctuary for self-reflection, self-care, and inner peace.

“I believe that through yoga, we build the foundation of our mental, spiritual and physical health.

A few years later, I started traveling and studying all aspects of yoga, learning about meditation, pranayama and yoga philosophy as a whole.

After extensive personal development, I decided to deepen my practice further by becoming a yoga instructor.

This choice stemmed from my desire to share the transformative power of yoga with others and guide them on their own paths of self-discovery and well-being.

Driven by my passion for holistic wellness and continuous growth, I remained dedicated to expanding my knowledge and exploring various healing modalities beyond yoga. I know from experience that these additional tools and practices would enhance my ability to support students and deepen my own understanding of the mind-body connection. I have completed courses and workshops in Ayurveda, restorative yoga, pranayama, meditation and menstruality among others.

After forming Awakening Goddess, I started teaching at LIFT Yoga + Body and offering workshops and retreats from my home studio in Alpharetta, GA.

My approach to yoga is focused on creating a journey of self discovery through breath, movement and mindfulness.

I thrive on creating a safe and non-judgmental environment for my students, allowing them to explore their physical, mental, and emotional landscapes with curiosity and compassion.

I wants students to feel peaceful, grounded and empowered. I truly hopes to simply be a vessel that will aid those down a path of awakening to become their most genuine and truest version of themselves.
